busan stories
joh-to is da man!!!
he's subletting from the big show.
so up until yesterday, joh-to's had to keep his stuff in the living room until big show left for la. joh-to started moving all his stuff into big show's room and all i heard was a insane weird noises and crackling animal sounds coming from behind the closed door. joh-to would "ooohh-aaahhh" and pop his head into my room and ask "do you have this...? where's the vacuum?..." but four hours later, the fury ended and he asked me to see the results. i almost fainted...
the last time i was in big show's room was about 6 months ago and the last time i ventured into the their bathroom was about 1 year ago. this is an honest estimation. but joh-to did a great job!!! before, i had thought there was sand all over the sink. i thought, "oh!!! wonder which one of my roommates went to the beach?" but i learned that it wasn't sand, but stubble from the electric shaver. that was one year ago!!! oh and i need to clarify. when i said bathroom, i meant to say was the bathroom sink. i have no idea about the tub... i don't even see white anymore.
so joh-to... you are da man!!!
i think the above is a testimony to how screwed up living conditions are in berkeley. in my four years at berkeley... i have seen the following anamolies:
- a toilet that'd be cleaner after you took a piss rather than before!!!
- mutating and spreading mold on the bathroom, bedroom and living room ceiling and walls (sorry josie and peggy, our deepest apologies)
- four grown men sleeping in concentration camp conditions: two wooden bunk beds with one heater for the winter, they weren't even sleeping in a room, it was an attachment to the complex so one wall was once the outside of the complex before the room was attached
- a hallway that refused to smell like anything else besides feet
- tick infestation
- mushrooms growing in someone's carpet
