busan stories (free time)

When he had received the drink, Jesus said, "It is finished." With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit. -John 19:30

it is finished... the exam is over...
well, not exactly. i still have to see if i passed or not. but i don't get results for the next two months so there's pretty much nothing else i can do. three months of trying to study after work, having an incessant little voice telling me that i should be studying and being surround by a dark cloud over my head that prevents me from enjoying any human or social activity has culminated in a 4 hour exam. it say the least i'm gitty with joy that it's over. but will this peaceful tranquility on this little hill be interrupted by the approaching clouds of having to take it over or will a ray of light come through to light my path to a bigger hill. i know that if i pass or fail, i'm still gonna be studying. but studying the same material has got to be one of the worst tortures. it's like having to wipe without any effect. all you'd be left with is a ton of toilet paper and you'd still wouldn't be able to stand up.

moving on...
i've been amazed at my ability to enjoy the little things... especially at work. i just got a nice black desk pad for my cubicle. i had to bite my lip to keep myself from giggling with glee. it's simply amazing what little things can make my day. because of this, i feel like a treasure hunter. about a week ago, i found a mechanical pencil at an empty cubicle. then i started to look around. i walked away with a hanger, filing tray, staples, pen and a ruler. i felt like the king of the world. the only thing was i had to pick and scratch a piece of tape off the pencil cause it had the former owner's name on it. i'm actually filling her job. now her job and her pencil are mine.. muhahhahahaHAHA!!!

damn... i sound pretty pathetic... but some of you can relate. hahaha!!!
